Who we are
We are a software house specialising in ad-free apps for mobile devices.
Since starting to develop software, direct to business, in 1995, Electus has now broadened its scope to develop software for the general public in the form of apps for the Google Android platform.
Beliefs
We believe all software should be:

- Small and efficient (no bloat)
- Fast
- Reliable
- Ad-free
As such, our apps are carefully crafted to do what they claim to do. And only that.
Unlike many other apps that require you to grant lots of permissions for even the simplest of tasks, our apps are designed to be simple, and to only use the minimum set of permissions to make them functional.
Specifically:
- No spyware: Our apps do not monitor your activities.
- Minimum permissions: Our apps only use the absolute minimum set of permissions to make them functional.
- No ads: Our apps do not feed you with constant and irritating adverts.

- In return, we charge what we believe to be a fair price for the hard work and testing required to produce them.
Summary
Rather than tempting you with "free" apps that harvest your personal
data, chew up resources on your devices and feed you adverts at every
opportunity, we focus on developing small, simple, reliable and honest apps that "do exactly what they say on the tin".
What's in a name?
Having explained our ethos, you may now understand why we chose the name "Electus" - it means choice. When you select an app for you phone or tablet, you are making a choice; do you want:- ad-packed and possibly spyware-laden apps that slow down you phone and your life.
